Well Suede Jacket and I have reached the end of our association. It didn't end badly. It actually ended perfectly for me. I found her husband - in Fargo, North Dakota, of all places - and had him sign the divorce papers. Suede Jacket paid me tons of money and then scampered off to marry her new boyfriend, which I'm sure will work out fine. I'll never give them up to the immigration department, but I'd be lying if I said it didn't feel nice having tidbits of info about people like that. Hey, I owe it all to a natural talent for finding people. Some people got it and some don't. But for now it's back to driving the cab until I can hustle up my next gig. My boss wants me to trick out my cab with a bunch of ads for phentremine direct, but I dunno. I like having a clean cab without that kind of clutter. But until I set my own hours, I have no choice. Oh well, it could always be worse.

Suede jacket lady - the one I was talking about last time - wasn't lying and actually did have some work for me. Who knew people in cabs told the truth? I didn't and I drive one. So for the past month I've been working on finding this lady's ex-husband. Technically he's still her husband, since they've never gotten around to having a divorce. She's got this new boyfriend and wants her husband to sign the divorce papers so she can get married. AND, check this, the new boyfriend is an illegal immigrant! Oh the dramz. This is more than I get in my normal line of work, which is great because it pays more money. All I have to do is use my people finder skills to track down this lost husband. She thinks he's in Indianapolis but all of my people search skills aren't turning up much of anything on that front. Oh well, I'll keep looking. It's a very big country after all and the more I work, the more money I make. Maybe I won't be driving a cab all my life. Maybe you'll be seeing my name in lights or in the papers. Then I could be a celebrity and get special treatment. No more cabs, no more cleaning up puke, no more dealing with stress, no more waiting in line to get into bars. I hate waiting in line to get into bars. I hate it so much I could've written this rant to waiting in lines outside bar. Well I gotta get there first so...back to the searching!

Someone left their jacket in my cab last week. It was a really nice jacket too, with suede and fringe - name brand! Probably would have made a cool 100 if I'd taken it down to Charlie at the pawnshop. But I could never do that. It would be wrong and uncool of me. So what did I do? You guessed it, I took the initiative to find a person and tracked the lady down who owned it. She was so surprised to see me. She'd thought she's lost the jacket forever. The smile on her face made it all worth it. I told her how good I was when it came to a search to find people and she said she might have some work for me. Really exciting! Okay, I'm still not a stalker, but my co-workers nearly died when I told them that actually now I am seeing a client I picked up in my cab a few days ago. But I have a really good reason! He started telling me this really sad story about how he had an older sister who was was put in a foster home when they were younger, and so she got lost in the foster care system. It's amazing what people are willing to share in the back of the cab. I told him about my love for background check and sure enough, he asked if I could teach him how to search people so he could find his sister. I told him about this search people site, but he still wants my help, something about being the best free public records locator he knows.

Well, I've been doing the taxi cab thing for a few months now and I am still enjoying it. I love talking to new people all the time and hearing all their stories. Sometimes I tell my husband the stories, but then I feel bad for doing that because I feel like I breaking some code between me and my customers. I know it's silly, because I am not their therapist or anything, but I still feel like there is some confidentiality. I find people to be so fascinating that i even pry and coax them into tell me the the stories. Sometimes if someone has a particularly interesting story, I want to learn more so I look search people search engines to find out more information about them. I never contact them or anything, but I just get so curious. It's probably on the top of the  staff pet peeves list at the taxi company, because I always talk about it. I think they misunderstand and think that I stalk these people, but I really don't! I never even see them again. It's not that weird, I promise.

So glad the holidays are over. I mean I love seeing my kids' faces when they open their presents, but the holidays can just be so much work! It's nice to have them back in school and have peace around the house. The taxi cab job is going really well. I love talking to people, and I definitely get to do a lot of that. People are always surprised to see a female cab driver, which I understand. There are very few women in this profession, and I understand why when I am carting around a car full of drunk girls. Wow. Friday nights get really interesting. On  weekdays, it's usually slower, but I find people hanging out in front of bars and whatnot. My customers should be glad to have me because when they leave their stuff in my car, I can always find people online and mail their stuff back, or at least contact them. It's a real hassle going through the company, so I do it as a favor. I love people finding online, which is why you should check out Hulu when you get a chance. Anyways, I gotta go get ready and vacuum the car. Female cabbies are the cleanest!

As the title suggests I am having a hard time, I can't say I am a huge fan of the holidays, there's just too much to do, too much rushing around, fighting crowds and too much money spent.

Well I have to say I am really enjoying being back at work full-time! The break was good though, as it really made me appreciate my job and working 9-5pm! I am looking forward to all the upcoming holidays, the kids are off then and usually break from all their activities, Yipee no taxi duties for me! I can't believe we are already in November, I have so much to do before Thanksgiving and not to mention Christmas. Oh I think I'm going to get heart failure just thinking about it. I've started to compile my Christmas list with the help of people search services of course. I always try to find addresses for my lost relatives and past schoolmates to send them a Christmas greeting from my family. The response is usually great to, such a wonderful time of year. Hello again, well I decided to go back to working full-time. I thought working from home would be great, but it wasn't all it was cut out to be... As I mentioned last month I found myself working late into the night to get work done and running everyone's errands. It was probably my own fault for letting myself be taken advantage of.
